I know the feeling of unbalance is a common thing for some who suffer from anxiety so I hope that someone has got helpful tips on how to handle it. The feeling of unbalanced has always been part of my anxiety, and I still get super scared when I feel it. Some days are worst than others so I do breakdown sometimes because of it.
Does anyone who feels unbalanced or dizzy,... - Anxiety Support
Does anyone who feels unbalanced or dizzy, because of their anxiety, have helpful ways in controlling the feeling or handle it?
Hello, I feel dizziness basically ever day and have been told over and over that its anxiety...
Its definitely difficult. The worst feeling in the world... and makes the anxiety 10x worse
I hope you find some relief
Hi my friend, it sounds like you might be in a state of withdrawal from your medication.
The fact that you stopped suddenly can magnify the symptoms of anxiety. When will you
be seeing this new doctor? It is usually suggested never to stop any meds abruptly.
You felt okay at the beginning because there was enough med in your system to pull
you through. Once you are back on medication prescribed by the new doctor, make sure
you give yourself time to readjust to the medication.
I hope your appointment is soon. Meanwhile do what you can to hydrate and try some
relaxation techniques through breathing that will help you through. Right now the withdrawal is causing anxiety symptoms to slip through as well as your fear of fear of
that feeling. Keep us updated after seeing your new doctor. xx
My best advice is to just lay down if that’s the option, or find a quick distraction. That’s what I do.
yessssss!! An awfully debilitating feeling. I have a fear of being dizzy or having vertigo. Which in turn, makes it worse. When my mind is busy being "here" in the real world, I am good. When I start to worry about what's wrong with me or little symptoms creeping up, I get sucked back into the dark portal of doom. It isn't fun. I had my B12 levels checked as well and they were extremely low. B12 levels that are low can cause a number of neurological problems as well as make anxiety worse. I'm not saying that is what you have, but get it all checked out by a Dr to rule it out.

Go to the doctor and have them check for vertigo? I had that, A friend of mine had to leave work and be out for a week because of that. There’s medication for that
I woke up and walked from my bed to the stairs with this feeling of rocking about, I had to hold onto to something to keep from falling, scarey feeling. I was on a boat the week prior, but it was over a week so it should not be feeling that way still....I wonder why, is it my ears? I had them checked everything is okay there. I am not sure why when I woke up I had this issue. It actually did freak me out.
Hi guys. I suffered the dizzy imbalanced symtoms 20 years ago. Its a common anxiety symtom for some. Out of all the physical anxiety symtoms its up there as one of the worst. Medication solved that problem for me.
You probably have MDDS.
That’s my everyday. I learned to handle it after experiencing it from since 2014. I can usually go through an entire work day feeling woozy and off balance and still function fairly well. Brain zaps are a recent thing and I’m trying to learn to deal with that one as they really throw me off when they happen, even though it’s only for a short moment.
As WonderBro says, the symptom that bothers you the most, will be the one to show up. For me, that is the unbalanced, off kilter feeling, sometimes full on dizziness. I am seeing a PT to work on that.
