Why do I always get these weird sensations and or think i am going to or are having a stroke :(

It’s awful. I always have to check my face in the mirror to make sure a side of my face isn’t droopy .... I get all fixated on it . It sucks so much ... constant fear of stroke and or heart attack , or heart problem 😞

This is a symptom i still get too, mostly my left side of my face, but I stopped checking, I just figured from a medical viewpoint that if I was going to have a stroke or heart attack it would just happen, there is no teasing with a REAL stroke/Heart attack.

Unless you have risk factors that can cause you to have a stroke/heart attack, you have to believe that it’s just panic disorder, you said it yourself, you fixate on it so your body is trying to “warn” you about this pretend stroke or heart attack you keep thinking your having or about to have.

The more you fixate the worse it will get, and 5 years from now no stroke or heart attack will even happen still.

So I figured I could either suffer for pretty much no reason, or learn to accept the physical symptoms I get just as an over sensitive anxiety bodily sensation.

If you were truly going to have one it would just happen. Real strokes/heart attacks don’t tease in and out it will just happen if you had a medical reason for them to happen. It’s time to take back some control if you want to have a life where your not afraid everyday and night, it’s no way to live and I truly wish you the best 100% ❤️

And again I really wish you the best of luck, it really is a shitty symptom, my face also feels like it droops and I’d get up check and stick my tongue out to make sure there’s nothing wrong, I got so sick of being scared though, just so sick of it.

I actually read online and in books about strokes and heart attacks, learning about what I was afraid of and facing it actually made it much better, not immediately but with time.

Learn about all that causes someone to have strokes/heart attacks and risk factors and what life changes you can make to better your chances greatly of not getting one or the other (:

Just know that a stroke or heart attack can’t just happen just because your manifesting it, it Has To be an actual medical Reason why it would happen, it has to be! Stress is not very healthy for you as well and it’s best to try and minimize that. I feel like you will pull through I really do, only you can fix this, no magic pill, no amount of reassurance from people here or anywhere else can fix this, and if it does “fix” it it will only be short lived.

Start a journal and write to yourself, talk to yourself, you know you the best ❤️ you got this! Look this fear in the eye and just say “IM DONE, I give up fighting this, it’s not healthy for me, I need to get in control of this, I’m done fighting” and accept this as just another uncomfortable bodily sensation ❤️
