OCD and intrusive thoughts

Does anyone ever worry about if they're praying to something else other than Jesus? My last worry was about a make believe character but now it's about my ex all because a memory of him intruded whenever I was praying, now I'm worried what if I believe it, why is this happening? Is this normal ocd?

I've had that where I'm praying and I dont close my eyes and fix my eyes on an object and then I'm like oh sorry Jesus I'm not pr sa ying to that I'm just fixing my eyes on that(like if I'm out somewhere and I pray). I tend to get distracted by my own thoughts and then I'm like sorry i know i was praying but I got these thoughts in my head. Lol he knows just redirect your thoughts back to Jesus. Or stop and take a breath and think about why that thought popped up then allow it to pass and then start praying again.
