Support with Acid reflux

Hello. Hope everyone had a nice Xmas?!

Has anyone experienced serious functional heartburn and undertook acupuncture with success? I still don’t under stand my diagnosis. Doctors say it’s not acid reflux (though my records state I have history of it) and that the cause is stress related?! I’m taking Amitriptyline , which is supposed ease the acid in my stomach acid or what ever it is?? Has anyone had any success with any of theses methods?
