I feel on the verge of an anxiety attack. It's 12:50 am and feel like my heart is going to pop out of my chest. My dog of 14 years does in the morning. I cried almost all day yesterday and I don't want to think about it because when I do I feel like I'm going to get an an anxiety attack. I just want to sleep and rest because the day had not been easy. I felt my head heavy, which caused me to feel out of balanced all day. I was hoping I would get good sleep because of how emotional the day was not I was wrong. Not bring able to sleep is forcing me to think about my dog. I find know what to do. I feel so weak, anxious and I can barely breath.

I'm sorry for your loss.

I know every feeling you describe. I went through it all for a long time.

I didn't think I was going to get through it. The pain was just unbearable.

You just have to grieve. It's going to take as long as it takes. There's no time frame on grief.

I lost my dog 6 months after my sister. It truly Su***.

It's been two years. I loved that dog and my heart still aches. I have tears just saying that.

All I know is when you love that much, the pain is harder.

Let your tears flow. My heart breaks for you.

Bless you. Our dogs are our family and when we lose a dog we lose a member of our family, the grief is no less. The pain is unbearable someone very special is missing and I'm not surprised you feel the way you do

I hope that you can make contact with rainbow bridge or one of the groups/forums that supports those through dog loss. Connecting with others that feel the same and being able to talk your feelings should help some. My thoughts are with you on the loss of your loved friend. I hope you find a way of resolving the feelings you have at the moment so that you can get some sleep. It is part of the grieving process and very early days yet. Please do not go through this alone, there are many others who feel the way you are feeling and will be able to support you

Take care x
