It's here.

Physical symptoms of GAD

GAD can also have a number of physical symptoms, including:

dizziness

tiredness

a noticeably strong, fast or irregular heartbeat (palpitations)

muscle aches and tension

trembling or shaking

dry mouth

excessive sweating

********

shortness of breath

stomach ache

feeling sick

headache

pins and needles

difficulty falling or staying asleep (insomnia)

apayette24, hypercat is correct in that excessive sweating is just one of the

symptoms of GAD. How you will know that it's from stress/fear is that it

will have a strong odor different than just working hard kind of sweat.

The smell comes from perspiration as well as emitting stress hormone release

to cool down the body. It's nothing to worry about. :) xx

Some of the meds can cause increased sweating.

I had profuse sweating with Prozac.

Not sure if you are on meds. If you are maybe just check if that's one of the side effects.

Is it still going on? And it's a lot of sweating?

No other symptoms of being ill?

Anxiety is a definite culprit in this.

When are you seeing the md

May be able to give you some advice on trying to get out of the house.

Any chance it's hormone related?

Are you female? If so how old?

I'm not trying to diagnose as you know we don't do that here.

But I'm thinking of all the other things that have caused this to happen to me.

If you haven't been out of the house you probably haven't had an MD eval in awhile?

Sounds like you may need to make an appointment.

If nothing shows up it probably is anxiety. But the best thing to do is rule out anything else going on
