Dyspnea/air hunger

I know I've posted this probrally before , but just reassurance because it's getting so dibilitating. I'm just still curious if others have got this symptom from anxiety that last for months.. air hunger, needing to constantly take deep breaths to get a satisfying feel of oxygen. My chest muscles and back hurt at times just trying to do it. I have done ct of the chest back in September angiogram to rule out pulmonary embolism but results were normal. I feel like maybe its heart desease but I had echo and stress test back in june but nothing serious other then premature abnormal heart rhythm wich cardiologist thinks might be related to anxiety, I do heart holter test next week tuesday the 26th.. I'm a little worried..

I feel this way constantly. Went to the ER 3 times with breathing problems a primary concern and all said it’s just my anxiety. It’s the worst feeling

U know I wasnt sure I posted this before but that's my memory with anxiety...but yes this feeling is very uncomfortable, scary because i also suffer with lightheaded, dizzy and faint spells for the past year...so it doesnt make it a walk in the park...what test have they done for you though ..I know I had ct scan angiogram and endoscopy

I have all of those same symptoms. They did a chest X-ray, blood work, urine work, and an ekg.

Hello Quich, I think I experience something like air hunger. I involuntarily take gasps of air once in awhile. I have no idea why and it is disconcerting . I'm not anxious about it tho I wondered if it was indicative of something going on. My Doctor didn't seem concerned. Well , he wouldn't be would he ? Anyway , I live with it and it doesn't seem to get worse or lead to any other complications . If you posted before I must have missed it. Pam
