Confused and unsure if gp is correct

I am currently on citrapram 10 mg around 5 months

They are not helping I also take 2-3 mg a day of Diaz because I have lately become anxious from the min I wake till I go sleep it’s awful

Spoke to gp today was told to start mitzapine 15mg tonight and diazapam

I am so scared as having anxiety everything is so scary

She said I could take both but so concerned as I take citrapram too

But not taken it for 2 days

Any advice plzzzzzz

Do not stop the citalopram cold turkey.

Re-start that.

Did your dr give you instructions?

I would imagine the mirtazapine is to be taken at bedtime?

If you are unsure, consult the prescribing dr.

Yeah I did speak to a gp

But I never get to see my gp

He was very flppened with me

And said just try this one and rushed me out of door

I never feel reassured hence y I ask on here if anyone on this med

Citalipram wont interact with benzos so dint worry about that. More important that you get a decent nights sleep

I take a high dose of duloxetine anti depressant and my G.P gives me benzodiazapine just to take when my anxiety gets really bad. No side effects but don’t take the Benzos every day
