I am so scared, I know that anxiety mostly causes a racing heart rate, not a faint one. My central chest hurt, breathing is hard, slight lightheadedness, intense fear and impending doom. What the hell is going on?? Can anxiety cause these symptoms? Especially the faint heartbeats? I can’t feel my heartbeats, the more I focus on them, the quicker I breathe and the dizzier I get.. god I am so scared, I am only 16...

Central chest hurts*
Anxiety can cause a huge range of symptoms including yours. The quicker you breathe the more you hyperventilate and the more carbon dioxide builds up in your bloodstream causing faintness and dizziness.
Look online for breathing exercises to help anxiety x
You have the exact same symptoms I do when I have panic attacks!!! Don’t stress it, it’s completely normal. I constantly check my heartbeat, due to my anxiety. The lightheaded thing, just a side part of the impending doom and intense fear, along with the breath intake - breathing is always hard for people with anxiety, also another thing that causes the anxiety. You can have heart palpitations which is where your heart “skips a beat”, my chest hurts from constant stress and worry, sometimes I get sharp pains in my sides from it too. I wouldn’t stress too much, consult your doctor about this issues - get it checked out and when she gives you the okay about being healthy (because she will) talk about some ideas for your anxiety.
You may want to make sure you’re not having an allergic reaction to something. Very unlikely, but good to get checked out.
Your “normal”, anxiety feeds on fear & stresses our minds which in turn causes us more symptoms. Once you realize that thousands of us have had the same worries, awful thoughts, panic attacks & fears , it is easier to cope !!
Understanding that your not dying, your not different, & knowing that it’s just anxiety playing tricks on you , you start to slowly notice all those symptoms start to lessen & many disappear completely!! I still have anxiety jitters pop up but I know the cause so I just move on .
