Ectopic heartbeats

Does anyone get episodes of (what feels like) skipped heartbeats? Ive been dealing with this for at least 5 years-finally went to my doc in tears one day about 4 years ago- ekg was TOTALLY normal - she ordered 24 hr holter monitor which did show the ectopic beats ( PVC’s PAC’S) but my sinus rhythm was totally normal so she said stress, anxiety, caffeine etc can cause them- still scared so i went to a cardio doc on my own and he said the same thing and wasnt concerned- that was 4 years ago and continue to get them off/on- can go a couple months with my heart beating nice and quiet and regular- then BANG! I had a very stressful day a few weeks ago and had a terribly frightening episode ( pacing back and forth and wondering if i need ER) then it stopped- im so very scared that itll happen again! It may help to hear about other suffers - thank u so much 🦋

Hi Lannsutt, trust your doctor and cardiologist if they tell you you’re fine. I had exactly the same thing as you and still do at times. Although unpleasant, these ectopic beats are not dangerous. I find taking marine magnesium helps. I also take hawthorn capsules (from the health shop) and that helps a lot too.

Good luck 😊

Yes will ask about that thanks for the advice 😊x

Yes I have them all the time. They are scary sometimes but I have also been to the doctor for them and had a normal ekg so just anxiety I guess, I hope you can learn to overcome them, I still haven't.
