So today my dad In particular told me I need to set goals and I can’t do this forever (sit at home, not make money etc) I’ll be 24 in February. It kind of irritated me because I’m doing all I can right now to try to get through this agoraphobia, anxiety, panic attacks, anxiety related eye issue that’s persistent. Idk what to do when the time comes I’m forced to just get out and go make money and I’m still in bad shape or not fully healed.

What are you doing right now to help yourself?
Seeking therapy soon (in person) since tele therapy wasn’t working. Eating healthy, going to the gym 5 days a week, working on exposures when I feel alright to do so
That's awesome! You are doing all the right things.
You need to explain this to your dad.
Possibly bring him to a therapy appointment for back up from your therapist. They can tell him what to expect.
Success happens at our own pace. Mayb more communication with your dad reminding him what you are doing to get well.
Yeah I don’t think he has a full understanding of it and wants me to just be better already and making money at a job because “I can’t do this forever”
I agree, he doesn't get it. A lot of people don't.
Your confidence will grow, it just takes time.
I was just wondering if you are currently getting any benefits or whether your parents are keeping you. If the latter then maybe he is feeling financial pressure?
I left school many moons ago at the age of 15 and still had to work full time with bad depression otherwise my mother would have nagged me to death! Not working was never an option.
I hope you feel better soon x
