Eyes, twitching and lightheaded

Hi everyone I hope everybody's doing well. I have a good days and I have bad days I don't even want to call them be at days I like to just call them off days. Like today I had to lightheadedness and I would say I can tell it affects my vision more just at my eyes seem tired and I'd always able to focus as I know from the eye doctor from working on a computer for almost 20 years my eyes have trouble focusing from the computer to regular paper so I do have glasses. But as I posted many times my anxiety and everything it stems from my neck which my trap muscles in neck all the way to the base of my skull got so tight and it did affect my vision for a while. But what I have noticed is your vision can be affected by anxiety and panic attacks some days I can tell anxiety and panic attacks not today we're not playing and I'm okay. But like I said today I was off light headed and then I pay attention to that and then I have like little flashes in my vision sometimes I do have an eye floater wedge that's normal as you get older. And today my finger was twitching and the other day my back was twitching so I got to go from One symptom to another. And still as I sit here today and read everybody's post and do my own research it still amazes me all the symptoms the each and every one of us has some of the same sound different can be caused by stress anxiety and panic attacks. I am in counseling in the one thing my counselor said it sometimes stress anxiety and panic attacks can come out in ways and none of us ever knew it starts affecting our body long before we know we have it

Oh I agree with your therapist Charbey in that Anxiety can affect each and everyone

of us differently and yet the same. That's because we all have an over sensitized

nervous system that responds to lights, sounds, smells etc. I get the tight traps,

neck and lower back of the head tightness. I'm on the computer with the forum

and take a break every so often because it does affect your vision. Also know that

for the lightheadedness, you need to make sure you are well hydrated throughout

the day. Sometimes that's all you need to feel more clearheaded again.

Give your eyes a rest every so often by looking away from the computer and looking

into the distance. It helps in relaxing the optic muscle. If you are prone to floaters,

it might help in lowering the brightness on your computer screen or picking up a pair

of glasses that are tinted especially for daily computer work. As for the little flashes

you may experience, I get that as well, called optical migraine. Have your doctor check

your eyes next time you see him.

Last but not least, I've noticed that because I'm on the computer everyday, my wrists

are not in a comfortable position which can cause some twitching. There are wrist

supports you can purchase over the counter which can help some. xx
