I have a dentist appointment tomorrow, it’s literally a block away and I’m freaking out about leaving 😭 I have to go to this appointment, it’s the closest dentist and also I have a really bad tooth, I know I’ll for sure panic tomorrow, and I’m freaking out just thinking about being hot and heart racing and feeling like I’m gonna passout, I’m so afraid to have a panic attack, that I’m messing with myself 😭 anyone have any coping mechanisms or anything that could help? I have panic attacks daily, but things that I could only get in my home that I feel help calm me down, or it could just be me convincing myself without hot water to drink, food and some ice I’ll die lol which I know is insane but whenever I panic I lay down and all that stuff calms me fast 😭

Hi Lexirae. The answer you're looking for is buried in what you've written here. "I have panic attacks every day." And yet, here you are. The reason you're still here is because they are just uncomfortable - not actually dangerous. Learning this is the key to healing. So go to that appointment tomorrow and if panic comes, let it. IT CANNOT HURT YOU. You can do it. I know because I did.

Deep breath it's no joke panic attacks but you will have achieved so much for your self you made the appointment shows determination.

Lexirae youve left it to late now but for future reference ask your doctor for a mild anti depressant like diazepam which may make it a less troubling appointment!

Not what you're looking for?
