So arrived in Alicante this afternoon, been chilling by the pool most of the day trying to relax with my other half, now I’m back in the hotel so tired my anxiety is taking over, I’m thinking the worst is it because I’m away from home or what? I have palpitations and trying to control them 😔 I do have Graves’ disease also which doesn’t help.
Any tips on how to relax

I started experiencing anxiety when I’m more than an hour away from home. That is most likely why you are feeling anxious. Try to remind yourself that you’re not in danger and you’re there to enjoy yourself. You’ll be okay and be happy you did it
I’ve been really getting anxious and feeling nauseous and my holiday and isnt until beginning of October. I wish it was tomorrow because then I wouldn’t have to worry about for too long 😐 every time I buy something ready for it I get all anxious and nervy, sounds ridiculous does it. I’m not bothered about the flight I think it’s just the anticipation of being out of my comfort zone. Every time someone mentions it Ive been changing the subject, then I get cross with myself and the anxiety sets in. I have mentioned it on here and everyone says to go and I know they’re right, but doesn’t stop me worrying about it at the moment.
I struggle on holidays too .. anxiety through the roof ... if you are still on holiday .. you are safe .. keep telling yourself ... except your anxiety is there to protect you .. talk about it too don’t hide it .. it want be long and you will be home again
