I am new here but definitely not to anxiety. However, over the past 4 years it has fixated on heart issues. I have been diagnosed with PVC/PAC (ectopic beats) but was told nearly everyone has them and they are benign as my heart is structurally normal.
However, yesterday I experienced a new sensation that seemed different than my usually skips. It felt like my heart was quivering almost for 3 really hard and fast beats. Then stopped for a couple normal beats then did the same thing again then it went back to normal for the day.
I was having such a good day until this random event. I didn’t feel anxious at all! Which is why I find it hard to believe it related to anxiety.
Has anyone all the sudden had their sensations change from the norm ?
I didn’t go to the ER because well it stopped and they would not seen anything.
This seriously takes over my life. I have 2 young kids and want to be around for them!

Hi! I went through something similar. It was told me that basically it’s palpitations . That’s common with ppl with anxiety and I know some that I have healed to where the palpitations barely come, if at all , anymore. ( I have to find folks like this and see what they did) I don’t often get them like I used to anymore. Nowadays, my acid reflux—trapped gas brings em on and that would be the case with maybe anyone ..(not all but it’s not unheard of , ya know?)
Were you even thinking an anxious thought in the back of your mind at some point ? That may have brought em on. Also, **if you are still concerned contact your primary dr and share the concern** . But , that’s true , it’s common and often some drugs ( prescription& illegal ) , caffeine , and alcohol, anxiety...etc could bring em on. So , getting a handle on anxiety could help calm you. But ,that blessing is other then you getting palps from anxiety, you’re pretty much healthy..there’s not any condition and things are FINE. ...so calming the anxiety will help you.
Im so sorry i have kids and this has been happening to me since 2015 . it has been rough countless er visits and they always say my heart is fine. But the monitor picks up pvc's they say they are benign too an anxiety which i dont belive either. Hopefully its just something that happens to us you are not alone
Yes I’m also going through the same issue. My health anxiety has always been about my heart. I’ve felt the skipped beat, hard thuds, 2 and 3 in a roll and a ring of 10 very fast beats. They happen in the most random times even when I’m totally relaxed! That’s what drives me crazy. I’ve been to the ER many times, seen 3 different cardiologists, had blood work, ekg, echocardiogram and 2 week holter monitor and all came back what they call “normal” but still diagnose me with pac/pvc (ectopic) and a occasional SVT with from what all my Dr say are Benign and that my “anxiety” is causing it.
