Back to worry.

I happenes to comment on another group about someone who has been having twitching and i said so far my drs say its anxiety related. Someone commented back and said that anxiety cant be the cause and to look into neuromuscular disease. So of course Im freaking out again thinking something is horribly wrong with me. Ive looked back at my past posts and i have had the twitching for over a year now. But wouldnt i have other things going on by now if it was something serious?? Im trying not to let that stick with me now.

Ericamo1, people mean well but sometimes are too blatantly honest w/o having the

facts about your health history. Your doctor is the best judge in where your symptoms

are coming from. He looks at the whole picture and not just the "twitching".

Don't forget that the anxious person has an over sensitized nervous system and when

we are in the throws of anxiety our body responds with twitching muscles. As I always

say to others, take when you need from this or any other forum and leave the rest

behind. It does you no good to get yourself worked up without a reason to document that.

Most of us have twitching episodes including myself. You are okay....doctor says :) xx

If you are concerned go for a checkup.

I feel like we ( myself at the top of the list) spend too much time spinning our own stories. If we have an issue we have to see our MD and rule things in or out. Then we can move on.

I remember responding to your post. As I'm sitting here writing this my leg is twitching. In my stable intellectual brain, I know it's just twitching and my assumption is from my meds. So, I'm not going to take it any further than that.

I hope you find peace in all this. Sometimes we are our Own worst enemy.

Oh please don't worry Some people can scare you but they probably don't realise I've had negative replies too

Yes twitching can be due to anxiety your doctor has checked you out

If you have had it for a year and nothing else then although I'm no expert I'm sure you are fine

Try to put that responce to your post behind you xx
