Can anxiety mimic neurological disorder symptoms
Went away when anxiety was better*
Yes all of it. When anxiety is up so is the spasms, chest "pain", heart rate, vision change and it's all anxiety. When I'm feeling pretty ok the symptom are hard to find and you almost stop looking. You sound like you are becoming hyper aware of body sensations. That was when it was real hard for me to even sit in my own skin. I still get like that but it is starting to give me a few more good days than bad and for that I am grateful. It will get better. Hold on for the ride it might get bumpy but you sound strong. You'll weather the storm. I'm to birds, butterflies and flowers and I can't wait for sunshine!! Good luck and gentle hugs here if you need!!
Hi Fearoffear x great advice. It's a long hard road but eventually we
all get there by learning to take the detours when we have to.
The road may be bumpy once in a while but it still can take us
where we want to go.
Nice to hear from you. Take care xx
Fearoffear- I really liked your post. I wish I knew from day 1 that Splenius Capitis Muscle from untreated whiplash can cause problems years later. And knew that before Good ole Dr Google got the best of me. As I now know anxiety/panic attacks effect vision and everything. And hits the neck muscles fast. Now after reaching for help I do have good days. I'm so glad I found all of you. I don't feel so alone.
In response to the question in your title, YES! 1,000% yes! Stop Googling or thinking about it. I thought I had MS or Parkinson's and it all went away after CBT
Cbt?
CBT=Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Three visits with a psychologist and I was completely well again. The key (or so I'm told) is to seek treatment early so that the anxiety doesn't build upon itself and fuel the fire. You can start CBT on your own in the meantime as it's very straightforward and methodical. There are a myriad of self help books out there. I used one called "Overcoming Anxiety" but I'm sorry I can't remember the author's name.
Thank you
Don’t start google stay with ur motivation key why you quit for because every day you are going stronger n stronger and becoming more healthier so plz don’t make ur mind play by googling it’s great mistake
Absolutely. I read about why my foot moves side to side when im anxious and i read about restless legs and starting to think i developed the worst case of restless legs when reading peoples blog posts. And now im worrying i have als or with muscle twitches. I only notice these things when i worry about health
