Fed up now

Now I’ve had a tight head then a hot body flash/flush, and still have the nausea, and generally yuk at the moment. The Nausea stops me walking up the road because of the gagging/dry heaving I always get with it, not a good day so far......hope it eases off later. Sitting in front of the fan and it’s not particularly hot like the last two days have been. I wonder what it’s like to feel normal, Because I would like it back 😐

Hi Sam

Yes it is horrible to feel hot all the time.

I certainly remember feeling it was like the menopause back again with feeling hot.

I remember also it was far from the worst of the symptoms I got so I did not take much notice of it but that is easier said than done. Some people get it so badly they wake up in the nights with soaking wet sheets apparently.

How has the rest of the day been for you?

I have had my two little cocker poos over and they are a real handful but of fun. They love coming. It is abit like having two toddlers each competing for attention. I took them over the fields on the foot path from the bottom of my garden this morning and to the beach this afternoon. The white one Snowy is very brave and determined and will dive straight into the sea to fetch a ball whatever the waves are like so I have to be careful not to let her do it if it is too rough. She swims really well and I know the tides here as I swim in the sea in the summer myself, sometimes meeting friends who do as well afterwards having a picnic together.

The other CP who is chocolate in colour, is very kind to her pal and always pretends to want the ball as well and runs after it but let's Snowy get it every time. When Chloe can get it because it lands at her feet she stands back to let Snowy get it. They are both very good with each other and never growl etc. They were entertaining children on the beach today with their antics. They each had a go with my ball thrower so they could throw the ball for the dogs. Afterwards we have a cuddle together on the settee and watch television. Each wants to sit on top of me afterwards and push the other one out! I think I could do with a grandchild vwhen the time comes!

Do you like dogs, cats or other pets or wildlife at all? We have a big wildlife pond in our garden and Snowy is in it whatever the weather if she gets a chance. We feed the wild birds also and have a beautiful pair of mallard ducks that come to our pond mostly in the spring looking to nest I think. The garden is big and alot of work but we like it. I grow lots of my own fruit and vegetables and freeze them, give them to neighbours etc when we have excess.

We have asparagus at the moment. Is your Californian Lilac still flowering? What do you think you will have for tea?

The other dog I mind is called Poppy and is a yellow lab. I get paid to have her and she comes from further a field. The two CPs I just have for the odd day and come from the village. I do it for fun and for the dogs sake as they are left alone alot while the owners have to work. the owners are really grateful and buy me presents etc I have Poppy coming on Wednesday and I will have her for 4 days til Sunday while her owner is at a conference.

Your granddaughters each have babies you said, boys or girls and how old are they?

Really hope you sleep well tonight, perhaps you could try zopiclone this time.

Best wishes

Kim

Hi Kim, ive had all sorts of symptoms all day, but at the moment that horrible ‘fear’ feeling in the chest, which i assume is the adrenaline but its been very scary and keeps coming on and off. Theres Noone around again today either, Ive only been up the road twice today as i havent felt too good because of it all. The CPs sound lovely, it must be lovely to live near the beach, I bet they had a great time with you, and you with them. I love dogs but havent had one for many years, and couldnt now anyway, and yes I love all wildlife too. my californian lilac is starting to fade now unfortunately. I had shepherds pie and broccoli at dinnertime, then had a sandwich earlier, trying to hang it out but I think I might go to bed soon I just cant seem to relax properly downstairs. Both grandaughters have boys, one is almost 2 and the other one is nearly 6 months. The grandaughter with the 2 yr old is due another baby next month which is another boy. Yes I will be taking the zopiclone tonight.

Where you live sounds lovely, youll have to send me a photo sometime

Love Sam

Thanks Sam. I have had a very similar feeling of a building anxiety when at my worst. I found using. Meditation tapes worked a bit to calm me.

Sleep well.

Just jumping in Kim - you've answered a query for me too regarding the heat. I know you kindly posted on my post yesterday.☺ I love cockerpoo's by the way - my brother has an adorable Labradoodle named Bruce. Labradoodle's really do have a character all of their own, they are quite daft!

I hope all us ladies can find some lasting relief - we keep trying, don't we? Hugs to you Kim - and hope you're feeling a wee bit better now Laniben; more hugs for you, too. ❤❤
