31 degrees on Saturday 😐

31 on Saturday? Never in a million years would I have said this once but that’s too hot! and that’s coming from a once sun worshipper turned ‘can’t deal with this heat now’

And I’m fed up with this nausea in the mornings as well 🙄 occasionally I might miss a day but not often and it usually starts as soon as I wake up. I’m fed up with it so it can take a hike, it’s not a pleasant feeling at all is it, but none of the physical symptoms are. It kind of starts the day off wrong if that makes sense

Hi Sam

It is tough to still be experiencing nausea. How long does it usually last for? You could perhaps ask your doctor about it.

Did you get nausea before you started on antidepressants or us it a side effect still?

The weather must be hard for you to cope with at present.

Very best wishes.

Kim

Hi Kim

It usually starts to wear off around late morning(ish), I mentioned it to the doctor and she said its one of the side effects of the AD Im taking and to have a gaviscon tablet to suck on sometimes would be ok. Trouble is this started way back in february when i took antibiotics for urine infection they made me nauseous too, the nurse said they might. Then it stopped and began again when I started worrying about the anxiety and its physical symptoms which started in late march, depending what kind of day I had, and although theres been a few days its not been there, usually the good days, i wake up to it each morning. This weather would never have bothered me before, and I do find it strange. This is why i always need something to do outside of the house, and when neigjbours arent around and my girls are either at work or busy with kids etc im at a loss. its that old distraction issue again, and being around people, preferably who i know takes my mind away from things, its not so much at the forefront if younknow what i mean. Im feeling

apprehensive at the moment and a week or so ago i was doing better than this

It sounds as if you did have it before as well as being a side effect. I think therefore that it will go when your antidepressant reaches its full effects. As you know mine took 4 months and 2 dose increases to get to feel myself again and then another few months to have fully recovered. You do the right thing to get out and about, which although you will feel hot you will then feel tired and relaxed in the evening. If it goes by mid morning I guess it could be worse. How do you usually feel for the rest of the day? Are you starting to feel better than before you went on antidepressants for the rest of the day. I know you get some odd feelings sometimes, increase in anxiety etc but by and large do you feel better some of the time? I know you have mentioned you have felt good some days.

Hope you find something nice to do today.

Good luck

Kim

That’s not bad at all lol, it reaches almost 60 here. Nausea is a common side effect of most anti-depressants, if your nausea happened after starting your medication, then it could possibly be a side effect.

Im still alive I think

Laniben I had nausea for months when I first suffered anxiety last year, doc gave me some anti nausea meds they worked well. I don’t suffer nausea anymore no need for meds. Nausea makes everything worse maybe you should try meds for a time. I took Metoclopramide.

I did have it before usually when I was uptight or tired but it seems to be more on than off. Dr said it can be one of the side effects of AD. I asked her about the nausea and she said to take gaviscon tablet when needed. Thank you for your reply x
