A positive attitude helps such a lot. I haven’t been on my meds that long and they had to up them 5 days ago so it’s a waiting game at the moment. I try very hard to be positive just depends how the day or night goes, yesterday I had a good day because I slept all night, which is a big thing to me. Today is different, I try to eat healthy. Don’t touch caffeine, drink plenty of water etc. Thank you for the post 😊

Hey Hidden. I'm three months in to a regimen of low dose ativan and low dose zoloft. What meds have helped you the most?

Hi AJ!

I’m not local at all, I live in the Midwest of the US, but I have anxiety (in several forms) too. I’ve had it since I was very young and was officially diagnosed with OCD (and it’s friend depression) 20 years ago. I’ve had successful treatment with SSRIs (except when I’ve been off them, and then gradually the anxiety comes back, and I go back on again), and I believe like you said a positive mental attitude is everything because it helps cope with the way we learned to view the world (through anxiety’s lenses) before we were in treatment.

So anyhow, while a lot of us may not be physically close to you, it’s always helpful to talk to other people who’ve had anxiety. I don’t think anyone who’s never had it will ever understand how we feel.

Midwest is in the house. Born and raised.

During those cold snowy months it is vital to keep a “positive mental attitude.” Totally agree.

I’m in Cleveland and we have had what feels like moths of grey days and rain! Finally 2 days of sun! Seasonal Affected Depression go away!

Iowa here. It’s been all rain. More rain forecasted tomorrow through Sunday. 😏 Today...sun. I will be outside all day. Lol

Ugh with the rain! Sun today, but like you we get the rain tomorrow! I’m so tired of mowing my jungle of a yard, and the soil is so soggy the mower feels like I’m pushing a wheelbarrow full of rocks.

We recently moved and have no grass. We have been wanting to put sod down but can’t get a break to do so. So it’s one big muddy pit here. The dogs hate it, I hate it, the kids hate it (well not a full on hate 😉). It’s not full on mud either its a nice clay. 😒 I’m afraid when we finally get some down it’s going to get overly saturated and not make it.

Oh man! You’ve made me grateful that I don’t have to deal with mud... and kids and dogs mean a mess of dirty tracks to always be finding in the house. Maybe the landscapers have a trick they use when it’s been a really wet spring (especially if the soil in your area usually has a high clay content).

My husband is trying to be the landscaper. Lol. I will let you know how it works out. 😂😂😂
