Today I had an hour long talk with my boss about some issues that I brought up. But I noticed when we were talking I started to feel shaky my hands were going crazy and I felt like my head was too. I got prickly feeling all over my face and now after the fact my neck hurts more than usual. The shaking has subsided shortly after our talk. I'm still struggling with the fact that this is simply anxiety. My mind turns to something medically wrong with me.

Symptoms
Yep, that's what our anxious minds do. If you've been checked by a doctor and cleared of medical concerns, it's just your over active nervous system. It takes time to let this really sink in - I still work on it daily.
I try to tell myself that's what it is, its still hard to accept.
Yes. The accepting is the work. Are you familiar with the books by Dr. Claire Weekes?
You probably were tensing your shoulders and neck without even realizing it. I too suffer with neck pain and the shakes when I am in situations similar to yours today.
Of course it was anxiety, did your boss say anything about it?
No so I'm not sure he noticed it. I'm not sure he would say something to me though.
He would have already, he's probably use to dealing with employees who get nervous, who wouldn't? He might have noticed, but felt bad for you?
Hi there,
How are you feeling now? I'm very happy to find this post as I'm dealing with the same issues. The burning sensations started in my legs and arms and now it's mostly my forehead, ears, scalp...but it travels. I'm 11 months postpartum and dealt with a ton of health anxiety since the birth of my daughter. I've had lots of testing...so far nothing...
Can you describe the sensations you feel? How are you doing now? Any advice....its horrible and a very scary symptom..
I've actually had a round of it today as well. My face symptoms are the prickly burning usually in cheeks. My scalp always seems to be sore as well. I feel like I get shaky especially in my hands my face always feels like it gets really tight. I too have had multiple tests to rule things out. I do notice it subsides once I calm down. It happens way more often than I would like. I have recently asked people if they notice my hands or if I look like how I feel and they tell me they dont notice which makes me feel better.
