Fear over everything
You're describing exactly how anxiety works. Anxiety is not dangerous. Keep reminding yourself of that. I'm sorry that you're suffering but we can get well again. It takes time and practice. Thanks for sharing with us.
JAYnLA is correct! What you describe are very common fears/ruminations for people when their mind is tired from all that anxious brooding and their nervous system is sensitized. Fear of "going crazy" is something we all hear over and over from folks with incredibly good anxiety (yes, your anxiety is state-of-the art. You are not sick, you are not ill, you simply have an anxiety center doing it's job too well.) These fearful thoughts will fade away once you start seeing them for what they are and practicing the correct reaction to them (a "whatever", or slightly amused reaction). On my profile I have my favorite anxiety resources. You may find them useful for you, especially Dr. Claire Weekes' work You may especially like the second video of hers that I have on there. This particular video is geared more towards OCD than GAD, and she has brilliant things to say about harm OCD (I think that starts at around minute 39)
As always- see a doc, make sure the doc does whatever workup he/she thinks is necessary to rule out secondary anxiety (usually just some blood work). I also recommend a therapist who really knows anxiety/OCD and knows how to administer cognitive behavioral therapy for these as well. Don't stop searching until you find a really good therapist you click with and who really knows their stuff. All the best!
