I have a hard time sleeping at night. My mind is always racing. I’m constantly worrying about my heart even though all the test came back normal. Doctors told me that I’m ok and that my heart is ok. I listen to relaxing music or sounds and listen to different meditation apps and calming bedtime stories. I take 3mg of melatonin. It helps some. I have tried every sleep medicine out there but it didn’t help. Wanted to know if there were other people who have problems sleeping at night. I take a anxiety medicine also. I need help.

i have the same problems. i will continually jolt awake every time i lay down, until eventually my body just starts ignoring it and i fall asleep. my sleep schedule is currently so out of wack that i had to quit my job. i always think that something is wrong with my heart as well. maybe ask your doctor for some type of medication that works also as a sedative. (such as hydroxizine)
I have taken hydroxyzine before but it didn’t do anything to help. I am taking buspar twice a day and the melatonin at night. Sometimes I take 25mg of Benadryl with the melatonin.
Last night I had a magnesium tablet and out on a hypnosis video From YouTube, I don't remember talking asleep but I do remember waking up and needing the loo, then pressing replay on the hypnosis video to go back to sleep, it worked, I'm surprised
Yes definitely have sleeping problems since going through my anxiety in 2016. Thumbs up that you are even willing to try medication to help you. I'm on the other hand reluctant. I did try anxiety medication when it all first started but I quit. Tried for 45 days. Didn't seem to help but I probably didn't give it the time to.
I take 30mg of buspar twice a day. It has helped. I take 3mg of melatonin and 25mg of Benadryl at bedtime. You should give the medicine a chance. Thank you for you your reply.
