I’ve been recently getting very bad morning anxiety and lately when I wake up in the morning I’ve been feeling very hot. Not necessarily sweaty, but very hot. It’s also very hard for me to go back to sleep after I wake up even if I have more time to sleep, because my stomach starts to hurt, I feel hot and my thoughts start to race. Is this a normal thing to happen with anxiety? Has anyone else experiences this ?

Happens to me as well it even wakes me up at night then i cant go back to sleep , hot flashes and anxiety , just reassure yourself and accept that you’re anxious and wait for it to go away , you can also walk around for few minutes usually helps me
My morning anxiety is the worst too. Sounds familiar to you. My thoughts are erratic when waking and sets physical anxiety symptoms off. If I feel I need more sleep I put on a guided meditation to take my mind off the thoughts and this sometimes can send me back asleep. Otherwise I find getting out of bed ASAP is best.
I do go to my college classes in the mornings/afternoons. I have been to the doctor recently and they didn’t seem to think anything was wrong. I’ve had bloodwork done and everything came back normal.
