Sucks everyday I have anxiety attacks and panic attacks, was taking abilify but I felt like it wasn’t working and made me worse. Trying to deal with them but it’s hard. When I take Ativan it’s helps but my psych doesn’t want to prescribe me any because it’s addicting. I can’t sleep anyone dealing with this as well.

Anxiety and Panic attacks
yes anxiety attacks can be unsettling. Medication can work to ease the symptoms.
I know but I have tried different medication and they seem to make it worse or cause me to have other problems like restlessness and so on.
Honestly sometimes you just have to allow the attacks to finish. I have the same problem. They have been bothering me lately and I am trying not to medicate. I might need a xanax by tomorrow. I get achy and feel dizzy and muscle tension is annoying.
You are right, the attacks are just annoying and my body been aching as well. Like the top of my eyes been hurting too. I have 2 Ativans the ER gave me a few weeks ago which I been holding on to. I want my doctor to prescribe me some but he keep saying there addictive and he don’t really want to give me any but they work for me.
What state are you in? Not all doctors are against Benzos. My doctor has to monitor me on them, but he will prescribe them. I have to see him twice a year now to stay on the benzos.
I see my neuropsychiatrist for a 30 minute or so check up every month. My anxiety is coupled with PTSD type nightmares, and some nights I just accept I won't sleep. I stay up all night reading or listening to old movies. It may take a second night of not sleeping before my body and mind are tired/calm enough for me to sleep. My doctor RXs generic of Xanax is for the morning upon waking and one before bed. Sometimes helps, sometimes doesn't.
Last year I was waking up in a panic from the nightmare and was walking around the house for several hours before I could shake off the anxiety. Worn a race trace pattern in the carpeting. Thought that would never stop, but haven't been doing it for about the last 6 months. My doctor doesn't want to RX anything for sleep with the Xanax, but he did RX a muscle relaxer to take at night, and that may have made a difference.
