Trying my best to get through work day

Anxious feelings from the time I woke up. Scared to do anything by myself. I’ve been really working on facing my fears, and trying to fight back but nothing is working right now. It’s exhausting! Wish I could afford therapy. Co-pays suck!

I get it! Sometimes it takes me an extreme amount of effort just to get through the day! Here are a few things that have helped me to keep going: exercising, keeping a journal, praying, helping someone else. Once when I was dealing with an extreme amount of anxiety, I started baking cookies and then decided to give them out to my neighbors. It wasn't comfortable at first, but ultimately it was really what initiated healing in my mind. I started thinking about someone else besides myself. I'm not suggesting that you are self-focused, but anxiety symptoms tend to turn your focus inward rather than outward. I'm praying that you will be encouraged to think of someone in your life who you could bless.
