My mom had a stroke

My mother had a stroke. She is still not fully awake. I can't eat, I can't sleep. I feel like I can cry every minute of the day. I just want her to get better. I know it takes time and patience but it is so hard to have it. All I keep thinking is when is she going to die.

I am so sorry Betha ! I feel your pain . My mom had a heart attack 2 days before Xmas last year ! She lives in another country so I couldn’t see her. Hang in there ! Trust the doctors , ask questions and pray !

Sending you love and healing for your mom ! ❤️

You would feel very supported if you could get a therapist or counselor or somebody you can talk to face to face during this really hard time in your life.

I’m so sorry Betha. I know this is hard. Cry and cast your cares to God, He will hear you. I will be praying for you and and your family, and I’m will ask my family to pray for your mom.

“It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”

Deut. 31:8

You must feel so terrible. Don't feel bad if you need some kind of medication to get through this. Bless you Betha.

My dad had a stroke last year 60 years old. Just take one day at a time, don’t look into the future too much, you can’t change anything just take it hour by hour day by day. Hugs!

I’m so sorry Betha. Please remember to take of yourself (eat something nourishing even if you don’t want to). Be there and strong for your mother, she needs you. My prayers are with you. ❤️❤️

I'm so sorry you are going through this Bertha! I too have just received some catastrophic health news about a family member and understand a little bit about what you are going through.

What I've come to know in my heart is that there is hope, there is healing and moving forward after medical crisis and it's found by placing my loved one into Jesus healing arms and letting go of my fear, my worry and my thoughts on how life was supposed to be and willingly leave my family member at the only place where they can best receive help. I pray you have a source of strength in a friend or mentor or someone who loves you who will come along side you and speak hope into your heart. If not, please feel free to message me, I understand! Praying for you mom to get better and better as the days go by.

I pray for your mom, my mother's had a stroke, it is a long and rough Journey, try and stay strong, she'll be fine. Try and not go to the Dark place, when you're mom gets well you won't be able to be there for her, she's going to need you more than EVER. Wish you the Best

I promise it gets better! My mom has a stroke too! Super scary! She lost control of her right side. After a few months of therapy she has graduated to a cane and can be independent and is driving again! She’s only 52 and we have heart disease in the family. Don’t worry too much - It’ll cause you to be sick like I was. Mommas are strong just be there for her and keep praying! Please reach out if you have more questions.
