Lightheaded/Fatigue Doctors say nothing is wrong!

Hi everyone, I've posted on here for similar issues but it really has only gotten worse with every doctor I see. It started 3 months ago, I would always be lightheaded and get the worst headaches along with the extreme fatigue I have always had. I went to my GP who referred me to a neuro. I got a brain MRI and a blood test for migraines all done with the neuro. All came back completely normal. I have digestive issues from IBS including nausea which becomes worse with my period. I am 20 years old and always have muscle pain/tenderness from doing light exercise. I NEVER feel good! Nothing runs in my family, I've been to the GP multiple times.. told me it was my sinuses and to try an ENT. I have post nasal drip bad but nothing that ever made me feel as lightheaded as I do. I see the ENT tomorrow. He also told me to see a cardiologist for a cardiac workup. I have been having slight chest pain lately but nothing bad, I thought it was in my head. I have a cardiologist appointment next week. My neuro today told me my blood pressure was continually low 110/60...ive also had BP at 110/70 recently. He said to take in more salt. I am slightly overweight so I never really took in a lot of salt for that reason. My next stop is the rheumatologist for my pain and fatigue and lightheadedness. I am so embarrassed all the time about my health. I never feel normal or good. I am 20 years old and I am always tired and something always bothers me, I feel 80. I am anemic but on Iron supplements. I also take every vitamin you can think of to try to help me. All the doctors tell me I'm fine and dismiss my lightheaded feeling. I was hoping someone, anyone would have advice for me. Is going to the cardiologist/rheumatologist worth it? I am so embarrassed. This can't just be anxiety

Hey, I can totally relate to how you’re feeling. I’m suffering with dizziness, fatigue and head symptoms for the second time in 3 years, and it’s the scariest thing ever. I saw the ENT and had an MRI and everything came back normal, so this time I’m trying to tell myself it is just my anxiety, but it’s hard to do!

I was in a&e earlier in the year with chest pains too, all came back normal. I too am a little overweight, and it’s so horrible feeling this this all the time.

If you think you should see the doctor to help reassure you, go for it, but it’s entirely up to you. It can’t hurt right?

If you can, try and practice some mindfulness, even if it’s 10-15 minutes as it can help just clear your mind a little.

I hope this helps a little. stay strong, you’ll get there! :)

hi just thought id say that I can understand your lack of energy and that it was anemia, apparently theres more to meet the eye with this deficiency,so don't dismiss it --as I was diagnosed with 2 yrs ago,it carries the oxygen around our body, necessary for functioning(im at the opposite end of your age group)does affect breathing ,energy and thinking-iron would help as it did me...and lightheadedness.hope the cardiologist app.turns out ok...I too have had twinges around heart region.....hoping you feel better soon ,keep in touch!

Immabasketcase I would like to let you know I fully understand how you are feeling. My suggestion is that you find a doctor who knows and is educated in fibromyalgia. It took some years before I found and was diagnosed with this and once, I found a doctor who knew about this disorder much changed. I am not healed and pain is a constant daily thing I live with. I often am lightheaded. I suffer from anxiety and depression, but I have learned a few things that help. Meditation, exercise, watching what I eat and drink. There is more I would share if you are interested, Message me. Beautyoutofashes54
