Scared, please help

I don't know whats up with me, I haven't really been posting on here and Instagram. Ive been foggy and not remembering well. Today i feel especially foggy....I'm so scared I'm losing my mind or forgetting who I am.

I’ve gone through those autopilot phases before, where your life becomes a blur and you do the bare minimum of what is required of you if that; you basically just exist and nothing more. There’s not much I know to do except wait for it to pass and know that it will.

Sometimes doing something I enjoy doing offline can help bring me back to reality. I like to work on a craft project, go shopping (I love the dollar store), or casually hang out with friends (not necessarily doing anything exciting just being together). I also find that spending time with my pets can be beneficial as well as making food that requires some effort to prepare (not just grabbing a premade snack or microwaving a complete frozen meal). Playing some upbeat music in the background can be helpful sometimes too.

Well I hope that helps. If what you’re going through is the same as my experience it should go away on it’s own, though I wouldn’t have a clue how soon. Mine can last anywhere from a few hours to a few months, though they are typically between a day and a week. If it keeps up it might be worth mentioning to your healthcare provider.

Good luck, and keep your chin up!

take a break from all screens for a few days. Seriously. You have so much coming at you from everything, that getting away from your phone and your computer is important.

Try it and come back in 4 days, let us know how it goes.
