Costochondritis

Please help! I have suffered from chest pain for a few months now. When I touch my chest wall an rub it it hurts and it’s now hurting the top of my back too! My top back crunches an aches etc ! I have also found a little lump underneath my skin or neck? Anyone get this

The lump will most likely be a lymph nodes, however still get it checked, I’ve been told to take 2 ibuprofen 3 time a day after food

Thanku! I saw a nurse about it last week an she said if it doesn’t go down come back An get it looked at so I will next week do u suffer with back pain too

Yeah I got told that and then went back and they sent me for a chest X-ray, ECG and blood tests, yes it’s like someone is pushing on my chest and back together

yeah I’ve had an ecg an bloods an they said it’s all fine ! They diagnosed me with Costochondritis but I never know what to believe

Yeah I got told mine was all clear then went back and got told that there was a inflammation on my chest although they had told me they hadn’t found anything and that I was clear, it is best to just keep going back as then they will have to do something. Hope you get sorted
