Anxiety chest pains

I have anxiety and I suffer from palpitations, they feel like chest pains and they can worry me sometimes, hope this helps
Yes it does. Palpitations and what feels like inflammation of my back and ribs. The more worked up and worried I get the worse it becomes. You're not alone. I used to take ibuprofen but stopped after realizing it tears up your insides after a long period of taking it. I do my best to stay calm and revisit doctor/testing results that show nothing wrong. Other than that, breathing exercises a couple times per day and staying away from caffeine.
I’m battling the chest gremlins too.... I had a ECG and stress test a month ago all looked really good ... but yet again I can’t stop the worry which causes the circle of fear and feeds anxiety... steady breathing and listening to the anxiety guy on you tube helps a little too
Big virtual hug ... take care
Hi I used to suffer a lot with chest pains and breathing problems but must say my symptoms are much better since I started yoga and my breathing is much better even though I am feeling extremely anxious and panicked the deep breathing has helped me. Good luck hope you find some relief 😀
I’ve been having problems for 3 months now, out of nowhere I have been having constant chest pains and moments of dizziness and sickness, I went to A&E 3 times and each time had ECG and told my Heart is fine and it’s all stress related.
I have just started taking Sertaline and hopefully that will help, the chest pain is just getting to me and sleeping is hard, I have had acupuncture which has helped and practice meditation but chest pain keeps coming back and sudden spells of feeling dizzy and scared.
It’s hard to deal with especially when working as it’s hard to concentrate, I feel for anyone dealing with this kind of thing and understand now how mentally and physically straining it can be, trying to do all the right things to feel better and not seeing results can make you feel really Low and I have these chest pains and turns even when for example having a lovely time with family over Christmas!
I would say give meditation a try and breathing techniques while listening to relaxing music, Acupunture is good but did take 3-4 sessions weekly to help at £30 a time, the doctor also proscribed me Lorazepam which knocks you out if you can’t sleep and are having a bad episode, hope your chest pains ease, mine aren’t as frequent now but still daily.
