Wanna_be_free.

Try slow deep breathing in through the nose hold for a count of four and then out slowly as if you are blowing a candle out try it 10 times counting as you go.Have you been to the doctors about this and had an ECG.You could also try a website called headspace it might help you relax.

Be strong Kenny

Thanks kenny, I went up the hospital and had a test, I am fine (silly me) haha apparently it is just anxiety... which lately seems to be getting a lot worse :( I start getting on top of it and then bam it hits me again. Think it's time to go back to the doctr and see about a change in meds! I need to kick this, I feel like I am going crazy :'( the harder I try the worse it gets, I try to stay positive but it's getting so hard. I never feel myself anymore. I really don't want to lose everything I have worked so hard for.

A change of meds might be one way to go but you could ask for CBT or another talking therapy they really are good and help enormously.

Morning,

I have just seen your comment and wondered if I can help you on anyway?

I suffered from a rare anxiety which involved me having seizures and now I don't even have a problem. At first medication was the only route and yes it does help but the side effects are horrible at the start.

Home help ideas.....

Music: get your best music into your ears and go for a walk and breathe in the fresh air......

Swimming is another and get into a Jacuzzi and steam room helps the muscles relax.

Then massage that's the best, fall asleep if you can.

If you need a chat please contact me.

Sending you positive thoughts.

I still have this dull ache in my chest. I'm wondering if it is indigestion... but it affects my arm to, my arm aches... :( had a ecg done last week and all was fine. I was told it was just anxiety! It goes away then comes back... I've even quit smoking this week due to the pain worrying me... I just want it to go away

Chest pains are normally associated with Panic Attacks and I can relate to you being scared, its a normal reaction to chest pains

Hi wanna ...chest pains are very normal sign of anxiety and so are tingly arms...anxiety causes many real physical symptoms sadly :-( this causes us to feel worse and the anxiety starts again as there is no real fear to run from. It's difficult to calm down I know... Can take hours/days sometimes. Hope you start to feel better soon
