Why do I wake up feeling this way every day for no reason
If you have been given a clean bill of health by your Doctor, you have anxiety caused by continuous stress for a period of time. You then became fearful of the symptoms of stress...which caused yet more stress! Your involuntary nerves that control your emotions become sensitised to the extent that it takes very little (such as waking) to spike your anxiety to inappropriate levels making you dread stuff that, ordinarily, you would do with your eyes closed and not give it any more thought.
When you have inappropriate anxiety, there is nothing to "get" other than you get anxious thoughts and feelings because you have anxiety. Unless there are a particular set of upsetting circumstsnces or problem causing your anxiety, learn to let those anxious thoughts and feelings be there and not react to them. Its about developing an attitude of being ok about not feeling ok and doing nothing to try and change the way you are currently thinking and feeling. It's just anxiety and surges of adrenalin which you recognise as scary thoughts and physical feelings. The thing to remember is that when you recover, those anxious thoughts and feelings wont be there so don"t waste time and energy trying to figure them all out. That just feeds right back into your anxiety which is why having an attitude of acceptance, instead of fighting, will see you recover and for peace of mind and body to return.
Hope this helps.
Hi Bunnylove, how terrible to wake up in fear every single day! I see from another post where Beevee gives good advice. Have you had a medical checkup recently and let the doctor know what you are going through? It could be a medical issue that may require lab tests to discover.
Has something happened in the past that really stressed you out? Maybe that’s still bothering you?
Are you noticing anything else throughout the day/s that may be causing anxiety? If so, perhaps reflecting upon it—whether it truly is worth being anxious about or actually needing to do something to remove the anxiety.
I hope if you ask yourself these questions, perhaps that may help you, blessings
