Anxiety
I understand how you feel
Sounds like you know what the trigger is for this round of anxiety.
SO many of us are scared to death of that flu.
SO be proactive, and keep your hygiene excellent, keep to a sleep schedule, take your vitamins, and stay hydrated.
I can promise you that one scares me to "no end".
I just can't cope with feeling this rubbish and I am always washing my hands and cleaning stuff as 1 of my kids had the bug I panick at the thought of getting it once I have it it's fine it's just I always get it where it wakes me up so I am sweating panicking I just don't understand why i am like this I can't cope with it anymore what do i do
Words have power. Be careful to re frame what you say, for now.
" I just don't understand why i am like this I can't cope with it anymore what do i do" marshall00
When you read that sentence as IF someone else wrote it, you gain your power back because you would tell that person, ________________( insert here how you would help the other guy)
IT is an obsessive thought pattern. Talk to a therapist, a parent, a friend, an Aunt, a Grandmum or Granddad, { yours and somebody elses} and tell them what you are thinking about. You will get the reassurance you need from one of them.
( You are going to be OK, we always are )
be well............
Sometimes I get nervous too about getting sick. Maybe consider finding a counselor to help you with coping strategies. It's a good idea to wash your hands frequently. They also say to be sure to keep your hands away from your mouth and eyes. Maybe try to redirect your thoughts after you wake up. When you feel this way, consider counteracting your feelings with words that are opposite your thoughts. If you feel like you are going to get sick, say to yourself I am healthy and not getting sick. Maybe this is a way to redirect your thoughts. Wishing you the best.
This happens to me too. Hang in there
I agree with Indigojoe, words have power. Have you considered counseling? Cognitive Behavioral Therapy can help you retrain yourself on how to manage thoughts. Prayers
