Hello all I just can’t seem to relax these days my panic attacks are on and off. I feel my throat closing, my IBS is killing me and I’m away from home which means away from my comfort zone and people and it sucks. I honestly feel horrible I’m scared to sleep cause last night I woke up at 4:30 in the morning with a panic attack it have never happened before. Anyway I’m in the hotel now hopefully tomorrow I will be better cause I’m exhausted.

I am sorry you are having a rough time with your anxiety. When we are away from the comforts of our home it can be a little scary and concerning. Try to change your focus to the things you like about where you are. Try to do something relaxing you like to do, like listen to uplifting music, taking a bath, or reading an inspiring book. I know how hard it can be to struggle with IBS and be scared to go to sleep. I would work on my breathing and also listen to comforting meditations. Here is one I recommend - bit.ly/2RFoeQ7. Ugh yes, hotel room panic attacks are awful Sorry you had that experience. Hope you did get to sleep and are not still exhausted. Glad to hear that you have the comfort things in place at home. If you are still going to be away longer, can you recreate any of those things in your hotel room? Or if you need to travel again, next time you can be prepared.
