It's my third day of medication and a few side effects are starting to show. I take my medication at around 6pm everyday and it helps just before bedtime. However, whenever I wake up in the morning I am still feeling anxious but nothing has developed into a panic attack yet.
I've been having hot sweats and chills, slightly been dizzy, dry mouth and I haven't been that hungry either. I've also been having a few low moods but nothing concerning. This just makes me anxious to take another one tonight.

_Reba_, don't be afraid. Everything sounds like the normal response to starting medication. Your body needs the time to adjust to the dose in you. Waking up in the morning anxious may be one of the last symptoms to disappear since mornings are the highest levels of cortisol in your system. With the help of medication as well as learning other methods to calm your thoughts, that too will disappear or lessen.
For each day you take your med, know that you are getting closer to feeling better in the long run. You are doing good. Anything worth while takes time. Having found the right medication and dosage is what your doctor will strive for in making you whole again.
