Hi.ive suffered from anxiety and stress for over 30 years but since having gone through all tests over the years,I was prescribed propanalol which curved the symptoms for nearly 10 years.
I stopped taking them I felt that good a couple of years ago!
However.....the last 3 months I have the feeling that it’s all coming back .
The old rapid heartbeat.sweating, throat tightening etc but with a new symptom ...air hunger...like in need to take deeper breaths,no pain but constant gulping for air.
Docs say my heart and lungs sound fine but this one is a new one for me...can last all day ....but if I’m busy it goes!!!! Is it all mind over matter or is it something else?
Docs have offered me more meds but I’m hanging in there a bit.
Anyone else feel like they have air hunger? Constantly?
Thanks

Hello jojo, there are a number of physiological things that can contribute to or mimic anxiety symptoms such as thyroid disorder, adrenal fatigue, food and environmental allergies, sleep deprivation, poor diet, etc... you might investigate them to rule them out first.
