so I know im sleepy and i want to sleep. The problem is i cant stop thinking ad my mind races all night long. I feel like im asleep but im not. like my mind is awake but my body isnt. Its been four nights and i still havent had a good nights sleep and it scares me

Yes I have the same problem, I do eventually nod off but it is frustrating, I have learnt to accept it but often dread going to bed. I think maybe we do sleep in between the thoughts that is what I read on one of the insomnia sites. Sometimes if something is troubling us we can,t switch off.

I hate it because for months i was sleeping just fine but a few nights ago i started to not be able too. This has happened to me before but not for this long. I find i feel safer sleeping during the day.

I try not to sleep during the day, I have 20 minutes nap but by 9.30 I,m very tired. My bedroom holds unusual things ,I wake up and see alien things and people, they disappear in seconds, this has got to be a sleeping problem. It does get better after a few nights but the unease remains.

Try borage tea unless you are have allergies to floral teas etc

It is a natural sedative it might ease you to sleep .
