Who am i?: Anyone else get really bad spells... - Anxiety Support
Who am i?
HI Lindsey14!
Did you read/listen to the resources I gave you? Claire Weekes, Paul David, David Carbonell, Hugo Rock, Swamy G (Acoachcalledlife.com) and the essay "Nothing Works" on Weebly? Check them out Lindsey14! Then you will start to understand yourself better and you won't fear your symptoms so much For you, I especially recommend Claire Weekes' Enlightenment video online, and Hugo Rock's website. TThen you will start to see that a cold head, feeling unreal, feeling blank, tense head feelings, chest pain and tightness, cold limbs, palpitations, shortness of breath, electric impulses throughout your body, difficulty concentrating, constant feeling-on-edge, feeling like you are disappearing, disintegrating, etc, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pains, sweating, clammy skin, frequent urination, itchy skin, visual changes, seeing the world through a glass pane, floating out of your body, racing thoughts, disturbing thoughts etc etc etc are all quite simply symptoms of anxiety and panic- lots of adrenaline and a sensitized nervous system. Not easy, but SIMPLE to correct. First, try to accept how you feel as very NORMAL given the circumstances- you've been anxious about how you feel for a long time. So you have anxiety on top of anxiety. Practice not adding second fear to your first fear. Practice doing this constantly. Remind yourself all the time that they way you feel is common and NORMAL given the circumstances. Then, know that you will feel this way for a while. It takes time to come undone from the knots. And lots of practice IGNORING the way you feel and ACCEPTING it as "no big deal". Accept, accept, accept,... shrug it off as best you can and understand that so many have gone on this journey before you! Also, make sure you commit to the basics: No drugs or alcohol (that's commonly recommended but I absolutely recommend it personally), good diet, exercise every day, work with your doc on the right meds, don't undertake too much but don't avoid normal things either...Check out my resources, Lindsey14! The answers are all there. And within you, of course. Hang in there!!
