Well im a 51 yr old lady with a 16 yr daughter whom i bought up by myself i lack self estem and confidence but i re ently got into exvercize and im loosi g weight and getting fit.I have anxiety and on friday i asked this guy i work with if hed like to be friends ( whos 37 single & polish) anywY he said man n women cant be friends so i asked would he like to be more the. ThT and basicAly he never gave me an anzwer but the. On monday i tbought he would say something but i got the cold shoulder and he said im demanding for wanting an a swer. Now i feel very hurt and upzet and foolish 4 e e. Sayi g anythng.i felt thT i was getting signs that he liked me but as we have had nice chats and for 5mths i liked him to be treated so badly.im not looki g forward to goin to work and havi g to see him every day.i cant belie e how wrong i was about him i tbouvht he was a nice guy but i got that very wrong so how can i trust myself

Hi pamb67, yes, rejection can hurt but don't allow it to knock down your self confidence as a woman. You can trust yourself. These things happen in life. We may get the wrong signals or be attracted to someone that we take that chance . When you see him at work, just say hello and go on. It may be a little rough right now but it will get better. xx
