I'm having to go back on Zoloft, after I went from 50mg down to 25mg then to 12.5, for 12 days trying to ween off, then woke up this morning sore & sick feeling then even had a small seizure, I have epilepsy and my Neurologist who's supposed to know this stuff, didn't tell me anything except, this will help me calm down and feel better, and he told me, if you don't like it just stop taking it. He didn't say anything about weening off or how bad the side affects can be. Is there any body else who tried to stop, but just got worse?
Why antidepressants are actually dangerous... - Anxiety Support
Why antidepressants are actually dangerous, even though it might not feel like it.
The statement above is false, anti depressants have brought relief and respite to millions of people allowing them to cope with their lives, their jobs and their family commitments. Of course, they have to be prescribed snd used responsibly and they only give respite not cure. But their help is immense.
Scaremongering headlines like "antidepressants are actually dangerous" should be disregarded as they are irresponsible and most unhelpful to people going onto meds and who need the immediate relief they bring.
I note that in your last post you advocate smoking marijuana to help with mental health issues, this is the worst advice anybody can give as the way that dope causes anxiety and depression has been well documented by people on this forum who have made that mistake.
