hello everyone quick question...??
Lay down and relax. Then check it again to see if you still get weird numbers.
That's a low bottom number... if recheck
i keep getting these heart rate fast everyday and headaches is annoying .
Hi Johnnie, I agree with Elizabeth04 in that you should recheck your b/p
163/45 doesn't make sense. My thought has always been if the symptoms interfere
with you living your life, then it needs to be checked. Didn't you mention once that the doctor
said you had a minor heart arrhythmia? Did they ever mention Mitral Valve Prolapse?
I have that myself. It is connected to anxiety disorder and is sensitive to fizzy drinks such
as soda, beer etc. Because of the skipped or fast beats, it can cause headaches as well.
A cardiologist would be able to hear it with a stethoscope. It's nothing life threatening but
is annoying. The symptoms than go on in making us anxious.
This is a very common issue with millions of people. You need to find out why you are feeling this way. Wish you well Johnnie.
yeah but then he says is nothing wrong everything is fine but i need to find what casusing this because the palptations is happening mostly everyday and headaches aswell
And that's because if it is Mitral Valve Prolapse *MVP there is nothing seriously wrong. It known as an anomaly and not a disease. Bring someone with you who might be able to ask questions. Sometimes we are so nervous that we can't help but tune out the doctor's words. I'm not a doctor Johnny. I can only relate from my own experiences. I had the same symptoms. Nothing needs to be done about it, you just need to know what is causing these palps and headaches so that you can stop worrying and get on with your life.
yeah i need to because just dont feel right i want to be having so much how i was now its no funn
I so understand Johnnie. I've been following you since the first day you posted. It breaks my heart that you haven't gotten any relief. Now you know of course that if you go back for another consult, you have to be willing to do what they say w/o any hesitation.
You're at the point now that you need to get your life back (and you will). If short term medication is needed, you will have to at least try it. Believe me, it may be the answer you have been waiting for. How long has it been now? Over a year. When we come to the realization that enough is enough, we seem to get that extra confidence and strength that we need to find the answer. Only then will life go on. You are young, so you haven't lost too much time. On Monday, see if you can set up an appointment with a cardiologist. Say you need a "consult" because you can't go on living in this limbo. Not sick but not well either. That it is interfering with your life and you are tired of it. They will listen to you.
Good Luck and keep us updated.
P.S. And if this all boils back down to Anxiety...then I will help you kick this Anxiety Bully to the curb.
I don't know about pressure. I only keep track of mines which is regularly the same. But I can tell you that a 93 bpm is not so bad. I have read that anything over 100 bpm is tachycardia . But I know the discomfort you are feeling because when my heart rate is 80 and over I can feel it in my throat. Is there anything different? Maybe you have not been sleeping well or maybe you are not drinking enough water, for me dehydration and too much sugar spikes up my heart rate, so does lack of sleep and anxiety.
yeah its annoying i get palptation everyday trying to beat fast and could feel it in my body and throat aswell beating like trying to make me over react so it can beat faster and could feel in my chest ugh its just getting me really stressed i feel like its something causing it just dont know what or even explain it .
I recommend keeping a health journal. Just take notes daily of how you felt that day. Your symptoms, what you were doing at the time and what you ate that day, that can give you a better understanding on knowing what you might be doing or eating that is triggering the rapid heart beat. I keep one and every night I write a new entry for that day and it has helped me a lot . I also cut out alot of things to avoid getting those fast beats and sometimes I still get them but not as often as before. I cut out a lot of sugar, if I eat some it's early in the day. I cut out fatty foods specially at night. I cut out all kinds of caffeine; coffee, tea, chocolate and I drink 0 alcohol. It's helped me alot and I don't get it as bad unless I eat too late, have anxiety or I don't sleep well or I'm dehydrated .
