Highs and Lows

After a lovely weekend for a family members birthday, I've been hit with a massive low today, not being able to leave my flat. I've noticed this happening a lot lately (Highs followed by strong lows). I wondered if this was the same for anyone else currently taking citalopram?

Hi Delora.

I don’t take citalopram but I experience the highs and lows, just like you.

Especially if I’ve done something nice..I seem to go low soon after...if I go on a trip it’s awful as I have to allow a couple of days or more when I return to recover as I ‘now I will isolate and get low for a little while...

Sorry you experience it too.

Maybe for you it could be your meds, if you’ve noticed a connection you could mention it to your gp.

Best wishes to you 🌺🌷🌺🌷xx
