Hi all,
I’m really struggling to let go of an ocd, intrusive thought. It’s been almost two weeks. At this point I’m losing faith that it will pass... any encouraging thoughts or stories, or strategies out there to help me cope? Much love.

I've no instant guaranteed solution, but, I would suggest going for a run, or down to the gym. When all else fails me exercising to exhaustion seems to give some respite. As does watching old westerns back to back on TCM
Allow the thought until your brain doesn't care anymore. Then it will let it go. I suggest doing something that occupies your mind like sudoku and you will concentrate on it. If the thought enters your mind just return your focus back to the sudoku. Even force yourself to think of the thought and allow the anxious thoughts that accompany it. I believe in you!
Thanks all. It’s a weird one. Like a deep splinter. Time and attention will heal.
