Have been given escitalopram 5 mgs to help me wean off lorazepam. Has anyone else done this. To be honest after experience of benzos I am scared of any meds now. Your views please.

I take escitalopram and I feel like it really helps. I have a high dosage than that but after I increased it and waited about a month it helped a lot. Keep it mind though switching medications is almost always rough, good luck!!
