Palpitations/panic attack
How are you doing now?
It might put your mind at rest
I bet by now your heart rate has slowed and the Ativan has done its job. 170 for a heart rate isn't too terrible. It's about what your heart rate would get up to during a good brisk run. When you panic, your body gives you a big shot of adrenaline for no good reason resulting in that "fight or flight" mode we all know so well. Of course, if there's ever a time that this happens and the Ativan doesn't bring your heart rate down or calm you, have yourself checked out for your own peace of mind, but I'm willing to bet your A-okay.
Hello again Capri31.
You have been posting almost daily about issues or PM me when you have seen your professional medical people . Did one of them RX Ativan and then advise you NOT to take it? Is there a reason you aren't calling the medical health professionals you have about your worries lately? Concerned that you aren't seeking any further advice from them when they have examined you rather thoroughly....is there a problem there? Did you not tell them about the "edibles" you had several months ago?xx
It is very scary for you, but your body will cope and it will pass.
