Does anyone else's panic attacks come on as a sudden surge of lightheadedness/dizziness/need to escape feeling? Or do your mostly start with anxious thoughts?

Panic Attack
they can come on suddenly out of the blue
Hi,
Apart from my anxiety and depression, I suffer from the lightheadedness/dizziness almost all day long, everyday.
Today I actually feel physically ill, my upper tummy feels like someone punched me. Everyday something else pains and I am in constant fear that I will die. I hardly have a day where nothing pains. I'm so embarrassed to go to doctors already. I want to stay away from pills altogether and am seeing a Homeopath and feel that even she is avoiding me now.
Feel so alone in this mess that I'm in.
I am so with you on that! Lord knows If I could avoid myself I would!!!
Are you taking any meds?
No. I have weeks without them and then days with them. I am trying to eat good, get exercise, and make sure I get sleep. I'm not against meds I'm just not there yet. You?
I follow a healthy lifestyle too as I have high cholesterol as well. Right now, I'm using Homeopath meds as I don't like the zombie feeling I feel when I'm on the normal tranquillisers. Now and then when I have bad pain, I will take a pain killer. Where excersize is concerned, I try so hard but I get home so late from work and then I'm so tired. Have the kids and house to see to but weekends I try and walk.
Your not alone, all
Of us on this site suffer from all sorts of things, palpitations , dizziness, stomach problems, swallowing problems, jelly legs you name it. We're here with you, it's so terrifying when your mind goes to the dark side. Remember we're here .🙂
Its so sad though. I hate when others are not happy, just the mere thought that there are others (and so many) going through what I'm going through, is utterly sad.
I've been suffering for years and it has to stop.
Are there no face-to-face groups to attend in Cape Town SA?
Sorry , I don't know if ther are any groups where you are, try calling your local council.
🙂
I'm exactly the same with light headed and stomach feeling like that it's horrible
Mine can be either or.
Yes mine do sometimes. Followed by chest pains, heavy chest, sometimes nausea too. You're not alone!
Yes but if I look back in hindsight I realise that this usually happens after a period of stress or worry be it notable or subconscious. Then there is always a trigger which is typically something subcounscious but through Journaling each occurrence and analyzing the few days or hours leading up to it as my counselor has guided me to do I am starting to gain more insight into my triggers and as such I am able to reign in the evolving panic attack by telling myself it's just anxiety and I'm fine.
Yes, just was working away not thinking anything bad and bang my head starts buzzing like a electric buzz light headed feeling and a pressure headache had to sit down for a bit
My panic attacks are like a build up of terror, that's the only way to describe it. Weird when it peaks though cause I'm alright after. I want to run, i can't breath, my head pulsates, my eyes go blurry, i get what feels like an electric shock through my body, my heart beats out of my chest at like 500 beats a min and i think I'm going to start gasping for breath cause i have like a suffocating feeling. Awful things.
That happened to me for about a year, a long, long time ago. They tested my brain, stomach, heart.....no findings. It always seemed to hit randomly, out of nowhere. But eventually it stopped......just as randomly as it originally started.
