I’m considering taking meds (beta blockers) but my blood pressure is more on the lower side. Would it be okay to still take beta blocker meds even though my blood pressure is on the low side? I read that the meds lower your blood pressure and I wouldn’t want it to make my pressure too low since it’s already on the lower side.

What does your doctor say? My blood pressure is low and I take a med fro my nightmares that was approved by the FDA for high blood pressure, so my MD suggested I take my blood pressure in the morning a few times to make certain it wasn't too low. It isn't but what I'm taking is not a beta blocker.
He said that I can try it if I want but he don’t think I should because my BP is on the low side, so it may make me dizzy. I just don’t know what else to do to help me with these symptoms I have. 😔
Well, like I wrote, my MD suggest taking my med and checking my blood pressure. If he already told you not to take it, please don't ask me......He's the doctor.....and I know you are frustrated; did he offer other options? If not, may be you should ask, ok?......But really, other people do this too......their doctors give them the advise to take something or not.......but don't tell us that and ask our opinions....I feel like a real dummy when that happens, duhhhhxx
What are your symptoms...what result are you looking for, has the doctor give your alternatives?
Palpitations, severe headaches, eyes hurting, difficulty breathing. He said I can have a procedure done that’s called cardiac ablation. Just trying to weigh my options, I really don’t want to have the procedure done
