Hi Dustin this used to really freak me out but I've realised now that the reason mine get sore is because I don't breathe properly whilst having a panic attack. If I try and relax through a panic it helps me as I don't get the pain in my ribs or chest as much. I also find that if I'm in a situation where I don't feel comfortable I tend to hunch up and this can also set off my rib and chest pain. When my pain was getting really bad I found that if I was to breathe into a paperbag 5 times it would help me. Sending gentle hugs as u know it really isn't nice. Xx
