Every morning and afternoon when trying to get some sleep I experience adrenaline surge. It happenes exactly when im falling asleep. My heart starts racing and I feel as if I have a lot of energy to move and weird feeling. Anyone knows how to deal with it pls? I have PRN benzo to take when needed but I try not to take it, Im not on any SSRIS since im trying to fight anxiety natural. I try and not give a fu** about the adrenaline and try to sleep and I do sleep but I dont feel rested and wakes up after minutes. If anyone can suggest something will appreciate a lot! Thanks xx x x

I can totally relate. I used to be wracked with anxiety for years. Honestly my best advice might come across as a little silly to most but what helped me tremendously was to hold onto myself like rub your arms or just hold yourself and give yourself some soothing words something like I know your trying to help me but there's nothing to fear here, I'm safe and you can relax some good deep breaths. Speak to yourself as you'd like a good friend to if you were with them in that moment of adrenaline rush. Louise Hay....YouTube affirmations and audio have been a godsend I had severe PTSD following a lifetime of trauma and I never could have imagined I'd be how I am today...used to be riddled with panic attacks and I haven't had a memorable one in almost a year :)

I just woke up this morning with the same thing. It's the shits and I hate it. I try not to let it get me but sometimes I just can't. Just try your best, don't let it get you like it does me. I feel your pain.
